An end towards an end

Merry Christmas and best wishes with blessings to all my friends! X’mas is simple for me this year, just a little prayer for God and nothing more. It’s a little lonely but I guess it’s still alright because I still have God by my side. But after all, my phone just kept ringing all day long with wishes coming in. So I had a simple x’mas all by myself this year, miss that someone I had my x’mas with last year.
2007 is coming to an end soon; it’s amazing how time passes so fast. In just a blink of an eye, another has gone and yet another has come by. 2007 hasn’t been really a good year for me, perhaps I should say everything’s got good and bad so I’ve experienced many unfortunate and terrible things this year. Sadly, but yet I’ve gained stronger and more confidence towards my own life. Let’s recap certain things that happen before 2007 ends; my relationship with Zaza ended due to some pathetic rumours and with people backstabbing me the whole time so it was rather really disappointed than sad. Then my grandmother passed away without saying goodbye, it was a sudden unexpected death which was very hard to accept. Triathlon career didn’t really go so well this year, but I guess my down side has let me learn something which till these days I still haven’t gave up my passion for triathlon, and I’m still doing it. Well, I guess these are just 3 major things for 2007. Even though there were lots of pains, sufferings, struggles, and hardship, I still find myself stronger than ever to over these obstacles. Do not give up are the key words, not just in my mind but my heart, it has led me to directions I’ve never been to which I found more happiness and simplicity.
I live by the code simplicity these days, which is to appreciate every little thing in life. It may not be important but yet it is worth appreciating what one’s have. It’s like treasuring every little moment in life, live it on the bright side as the grass is always greener on the other side, and be happy and grateful for what God has given. Everything happens for a reason I believe, whether it is good or bad, it surfs a purpose; purposes that we would only know by ourselves. So what is your purpose in this life? Everybody has its own desired or designated code of purpose, whether it’s your passion or target or even your desire, yet it surfs a purpose for you in your very own life. People always have the right to live their lives by their own way. No one is on control, unless you want to be controlled. Freedom is to be search and achieved by your own individually. It is not God’s will to do so but it is humanity. Many say God has chosen a path for each of us, God has destined our lives, and God has given a way to live. Indeed, it is my believe that God has only given us choices to make and do not force us to take it. It is only guidance that God has provided towards mankind. Destiny is not in God’s hand, but it is in our very own hand as we create our own destiny since the day we were born. We live our own lives and not lived by others, we do what we want and we achieve what we want. The very chosen path or destiny is self created, it is based on our own decision, hence it is our own responsibility to walk our destiny and not blaming anybody in the end. Whether your destiny has come to good or bad, yet it is still the decision you have made for yourself, and NOT decided by neither God nor anyone else. One solid example, the moment when a teenager takes the very first cigarette, is it God that make the decision for him to do so or himself? Besides, we all know smoking is bad for health and it’s a stupidity to do so. Thus, it is our mind and our own hearts to tell us to do what we want in our lives and live with it.
Triathlon is truly a way of life, as every day I live with it. Water, Wind, and Earth; these are the 3 core elements of triathlon. Every single day I wake up getting ready for another of hardwork and pure challenge. Triathlon is a real endurance sport, as it takes so much determination, patience, and endurance to do it. Believe it or not, on average I’m training 8 hours a day for 6 days a week, it’s like a job. Though I’m studying in Curtin yet I still get a lot of time off to do my training. With the 3 months holiday that I’m having now, I get a full-time training. Everyday waking up training, eat, sleep, training, and training basically. I really enjoy it though, yet I get really bored when I’m not training. Boredom really sets in when there’s no training, with only 8 hours of training per day, 10 hours of sleep, and the remaining 6 hours of the day is pure boredom. With nowhere to go and nothing to do, I would just sit at home watching TV or reading books all day long. I hardly go out though because Miri is just so small, a very small town yet it is called a city (LMAO), there’s hardly anything to do so life has become so simple. The only place I hang out most is only Coffee Bean, I just love it there. But one thing for sure is I get to spend more time with my family, shopping with my mum and company my little brother. Dating? Nah, nobody to date. It’s quite boring being single though, no company or jokes to play around with, it gets really bored being single..sometimes! Yet single is fun, lots of freedom and that’s all I can every describe, and boring..lol!
There is this girl I have a crush on, it’s been a few months now. It’s really hard to date her though because she always seems to be busy, and I’m not blaming her as she works. I was always busy too when I worked, always got stuck in the office. I only met her once; she’s really cute, lovely, adorable, pretty, sweet, friendly, intelligent and active. She’s good in bowling, netball, and tennis. So she’s quite sporty I can say. We talk every little while, by sms or just giving comments in friendster. I must say she’s also very matured and independent, and able to manage things her own way. I find her very unique and special somehow as she has a brilliant personality. After all, Elvyna is really a nice girl. Besides, she’s not what Zaza has described as she used to tell me how flirty and cheeky Elvyna is. But I’ve got to know Elvyna myself and she’s way better than what was described. You just can’t judge people by their looks in this world; it’s the personality and the soul that we have to look within. Appearances can be very deceiving at times, as it is a deception to our mind. People may have different looks, but yet it’s the beauty within that matter.
Recently, I found out there are a few stalkers aftering me. It is very spooky and scary though, and it kinda freaks me out when I discovered it. There are 4 of them if I’m not mistaken, 2 girls and 2 guys. I’m not too sure if the guys are still stalking me because I don’t hear any rumours created by them anymore as they were tailing me few months back. But the girls are the scary ones as one of them has been coming to the pool for the past few months and I never noticed her until she told me herself, so I gotta tell her off as it smothered me. And the other one is still stalking me and Elvyna in frienster till today, we know who but in order not ruin her reputation I will not say who it is. For those who know, we’ll just keep quiet and see how long she can play this stupid game. Stalkers are scary people, and gotta be aware of them. And I’m really glad my friends are telling me these kinda stuffs, thanks to them.
New Year’s Eve is coming very soon, only 5 days left and counting. And 2008 is just around the corner. Everybody’s gonna party on new year’s eve, guess I’m just gonna sit at home and watch tv or watch the fireworks from my balcony at midnight. I know some of my friends are tired of hearing me complaining being single..Sorry guys..hahaha..you know how it is when I’m just too bored! =P
Have a great fun celebrating new year everyone! ;D
