I came across this thought from long time ago, as I then realized what Love was really about and the difference from Like. Hence, I soon began to question many and often ask what their Likes and Loves are. Many have answered the same thing as I expected, Like is Love, as I knew how people have misunderstood what is Like. From feelings to desire, from desire to demand, then as to forget what one really need somehow. Thus, many of us would have soon begun to misinterpret our very own desire in life, or perhaps even mislead the others.
Like, in a way, is a favourable manner of our own desire. It is a feeling that tells us we favour something that is very attractive and eager to have. We may like many things around us, from gadgets to animals as pets, or even to cars and houses. Often, when we like something we tend to have the intentions of earning them as we may find them useful and handy in a way we feel the like of it helps us to have more favour towards what we like. Hence, we would adore or treasure something that we own when we like it, yet this feeling do seem to appear in temporary motion only. This is because due to our desire of favours often stretch us to greater distance in defining what we want as we like, as we may like different things that will impress or amaze us in its own ways. Attractive it can be, as our eyes are often catch by magnificent items and hence we will have the desire to show favours, in other words like. Temporary it is, as like only tells us what we want, because due to its impressiveness of favours we are able to be pulled towards or drawn to something that tempted us to do so. But yet, Like is just a feeling that tells us our desire towards what we want and why we would like to have them. So we may like the weather for a moment, but we may not like it again by the next minute as the changes of it, therefore our favours are temporary as it is accordance to our desire.
But Love comes in a different way, as love is an emotional feeling of affection and a feeling that is only being felt in the heart, as defined in the previous article “Love Hurts?” thus Love is something not temporary but it is a permanent motion of life revolve around us. Love gets very passionate and warm as our heart project that feel towards what is to be loved by us. Love is often treasured and felt precious in the heart, as our heart would grow passionate towards what we love It is not a desire or demand that we want something and would say love it, as love comes naturally when we realise the value and effect that it has in our lives by giving us affection. As love lays its hand onto us, we feel being adored and treasured in life as we are able to know the value and preciousness that something can give to us. Wonderful we may say, or even the greatest. What we love stays in the heart and unable to let it go as the passion for it is well dwelled in the heart, as we treasure and appreciate them. The passion that love gives is unlimited as our passion gives us a great distance to explore and go further to develop our loves towards what are loved, as the passion just grow stronger and stronger. On the other hand, Love is well different from Like as the affection of Love is permanent and does not evolve as Like does, when one is passionate where the other is accordance to our desire. Love makes no difference when it comes to its defining truth of sincerity and loyalty, as it is very passionate indeed, and takes no alternate views. As simple as I can say, no matter how ugly or imperfect something is but when a person has a Love towards yet that very person would just Love as it is with no conditions and circumstances. Therefore, Love is unconditional as Like is.
Many people have misunderstood many others because of Like and Love. When somebody like or is being liked, it is just an admirable feeling because that person may be very nice or have impressive personality etc. But yet, when we say we like somebody and many people would assume that we have fallen in love for him or her. We do admire people in many ways, as mention, because it is our own favours towards what we desire. Compliments we have while others may take these words to be words of flirtatious, as people would also call them sweet talks. But, compliments are just words of honesty are our views of judgements in what impress us. Thus, people still misunderstand Like these days because Like has seem to be deceptive in some ways that it has tricked people’s mind. Like itself does no harm, as it is only our own understanding that causes the misunderstandings. Many people have different views and different judgements because of different background being brought up in different culture. Yet, we can make a difference if only we would start sharing the logical differentiations for others to understand and comprehend more in defining their own wants and needs.
Like we have, Love we shall yet we shall always be aware of what our minds have to tell us. For it is important to read the heart as well, because decisions are based on choices that has given to us yet we are the ones in defining our own decisions as we certainly do create our own decisions without having choices to make.
